Government Polytechnic Ghatampur is a premier Institute located at Kanpur in Uttar Pradesh. It is established in 1989. Institute offers diploma courses in mechanical engineering branch including automobile, production and maintenance. These programs are in full time mode. Candidate can take admission through JEECUP entrance exam after completing 10th or 12th class. These courses are recognized by Board of Technical Education, Lucknow and approved by AICTE. Each course has 75 seats and 07 seats in lateral entry for each branch. Institute has experienced faculty in the field of mechanical engineering. The Institute campus has two boys hostel, Girls Hostel (Under Construction), Cafeteria, Gym Equipments, Library, Sports ground, Wi-Fi Campus.
